Dr. Cynthia Hollingsworth, LCSW-QS, MS-CAR, DrHSc, NASM-CPT

Licensed Therapist, Florida & Texas| Conflict Resolution Specialist | Integrative Mental Health Professional

Dr. Cynthia Hollingsworth is a licensed therapist, conflict resolution specialist, and integrative mental health professional with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals, families, and professionals through emotional, relational, and life transitions.

Dr. Cynthia holds a Doctor of Health Science, an MBA in Health Systems Management, and advanced graduate training in both Social Work and Conflict Analysis and Resolution, all from Nova Southeastern University and Barry University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas–Pan American. She is also a NASM-Certified Personal Trainer, allowing her to integrate mind–body awareness into her work with stress, emotional regulation, and weight-related challenges.

Clinical Background & Leadership Experience

Dr. Cynthia began her career working with children and families, serving as a developmental consultant and within child protective services, parenting programs, and women’s mental health initiatives. These early experiences shaped her strong foundation in attachment, family systems, and developmental psychology.

Her work later expanded into addiction treatment, trauma, personality disorders, and eating disorders, where she served in clinical director and leadership roles across mental health and addiction treatment centers in South Florida. In these roles, she developed deep expertise in crisis management, clinical systems, interdisciplinary collaboration, and sustainable recovery models.

Her MBA in Health Systems Management uniquely informs her clinical work, supervision, and leadership approach—allowing her to understand both the human and systemic factors that influence care, outcomes, and professional sustainability.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Cynthia has developed specialized programming informed by her work with veteran populations, integrating trauma, attachment, nervous system regulation, and identity repair within high-structure systems.
